About Rick

Rick Gardner is the Senior Partner & Managing Broker of International Business & Franchise Advisors. Rick is both a Business and Commercial Real Estate Broker, In Florida and Ohio, holding the Certified Business Intermediary designation through, and teaching for, the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and is a member of the M&A Source (Mergers & Acquisitions) organization. Rick began his career as a Financial Analyst for Joint Ventures with Richard E. Jacobs Group (then the largest privately-held mall developer in the nation) in the late 1990s – early 2000s, and has most recently been a Partner & Managing Broker for Sunbelt Business Brokers. 

Prior to this, he was a Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield, Director of Commercial Real Estate at Coldwell Banker, invested in real estate, and taught finance courses for both an MBA program and a real estate pre- licensing program. He earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Akron in 1995. Rick served from 1987-1993 in both the U.S. Army and Army National Guard as an MOS 19D Recon Scout and was a 1989 Honor Graduate from the Army’s Primary Leadership Development Course.
